Commercial Origination Expert

CMLS Financial is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Commercial Origination team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing credit analysis and support in the preparation of loan summaries to facilitate loan approval processes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth analysis and due diligence on loan applications to inform credit decisions.
- Prepare detailed credit applications outlining deal structures and analysis findings.
- Review third-party reports to ensure compliance with internal requirements, lending guidelines, and investor terms.
- Assist with satisfying pre-funding conditions for loan funding.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and disseminate information.
- Attend networking events, client meetings, and handle internal and external communications.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals and objectives of the commercial sales division.
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and a passion for real estate.
- Completed undergraduate degree in finance, economics, urban land development, accounting, or business administration.
- Intermediate to advanced level user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Motivated self-starter with a results-driven approach.
