Facilities Cleaning Supervisor

Required Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruit and train cleaning personnel or coordinate training sessions
  2. Oversee and organize the activities of cleaning staff
  3. Conduct inspections of sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
  4. Prepare budgets and cost projections
  5. Suggest or arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment
  6. Maintain financial documentation
  7. Process payments for specialized cleaning services
  8. Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed
  9. Coordinate work activities with other departments
  10. Establish work schedules for staff

Supervisory Experience Required:

  1. Management of 5-10 personnel
  2. Supervision of janitors, caretakers, and building superintendents
  3. Oversight of light-duty cleaners
  4. Management of specialized cleaning staff

Security and Safety Requirements:
Basic security clearance is necessary.
