Dispatcher, Plant Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher, Plant Operations Coordinator to join our team at Rainbow Concrete Industries Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring seamless execution of work orders and schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all work records and logs are up-to-date and accurate, providing valuable insights for process improvements.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely updates on shipment status.
- Dispatch Personnel: Coordinate the deployment of personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Monitor and Follow-up on Issues: Identify and address any issues related to work orders, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Track Shipments: Monitor the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking information.
- Stay Compliant with Regulations: Maintain knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
- Operate Radio Equipment: Utilize radio equipment to communicate with vehicle operators and crews, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of work orders.
- Process and Transmit Information: Accurately process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Take Customer Orders: Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Answer Telephone Calls and Relay Messages: Respond to telephone calls and relay messages to ensure timely communication and resolution of customer inquiries.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in dispatch management service software and able to operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
- Service Experience: Previous experience in trucking or a related field.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, with attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
