Dispatcher, Plant Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher, Plant Operations Coordinator to join our team at Rainbow Concrete Industries Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Accurate Records
Ensure that all work records and logs are up-to-date and accurately reflect the activities of our plant operations team.
Provide Excellent Customer ServiceRespond to customer inquiries and provide timely and effective solutions to their needs.
Coordinate Plant OperationsDispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, and follow up on any issues that may arise.
Manage ShipmentsTrack and coordinate the movement of goods and materials to ensure timely delivery.
Stay Up-to-Date with RegulationsKnowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices is essential to ensure compliance and avoid any potential issues.
Operate Radio EquipmentUse radio equipment to communicate with plant operations team members and coordinate activities.
Process and Transmit InformationUse dispatching equipment to process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews.
Take Customer OrdersTake orders from customers and relay them to the plant operations team.
Answer Telephone CallsAnswer telephone calls and relay messages to the plant operations team.
Requirements- Computer and Technology Skills
Proficiency in dispatch management service software and ability to operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
Service ExperiencePrevious experience in trucking or a related field is an asset.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesAbility to work independently, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
