Our client is seeking a dedicated and strategic Plant Manager / Manufacturing Manager : Emulsion to oversee their automated electronic and shock tube detonator assembly plants. This role requires a dynamic leader to manage daily operations, from raw material preparation to ensuring top-tier quality control and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the production staff and maintenance activities
- Oversee the assembly process, focusing on quality control and adherence to safety, labour, and environmental regulations
- Coordinate plant operations, including production, maintenance, and implementing continuous improvement strategies
- Align with the manufacturing standards to reduce waste and enhance productivity and safety
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant technical experience and 3+ years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in Safety, Quality, OEE, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices
