Job Summary:

Metro Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst - SAP Procurement and Sales, you will be responsible for providing continuous support to operations, assisting in the realization of projects from design to implementation for solutions and systems that support business processes related to procurement and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze business process needs, software applications, and system development requirements for users in the Procurement and Sales sector.
  • Analyze business processes and document them to optimize operations based on selected indicators.
  • Write and revise functional specifications in accordance with standards and best practices.
  • Configure procurement and sales modules to meet business requirements.
  • Develop test scripts, conduct testing, and record results to confirm system functionality.
  • Provide support to end-users for stabilization purposes when new changes are deployed.
  • Participate in the preparation of training documents and user training.
  • Develop a privileged relationship with business partners within the company, and translate their needs into technical requirements for their center of expertise.
  • Anticipate issues and risks by implementing controls and action plans to secure production deployments.
  • Contribute to operational support under the responsibility of their center of expertise.
  • Actively monitor production processes and activities.
  • Investigate problems or incidents related to production systems, analyze, and resolve them.
  • Advise and assist users in a perspective of improvement and innovation.
  • Translate business, operational, and functional requirements to development teams.
  • Participate in quality control activities of processes in their center of expertise.
  • Share knowledge with other team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.
  • More than 10 years of experience in a consulting role, analyst position related to ERP systems.
  • Experience in the retail, food, or manufacturing sector (an asset).
  • Ability to analyze a large volume of information and ensure a clear and concise synthesis.
  • Knowledge of value chains and main technology integration points.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, deliverables, and projects.
  • Communication skills and ability to adapt to their audience.
  • Master of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • May require occasional travel to external locations between Metro offices (Laval, Montreal, Varennes, Ontario).
  • Available to perform second-level support (in rotation) outside regular office hours.
