About the Opportunity:

In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for all visitors to the Fire & Rescue Services Department. Your responsibilities will include addressing public inquiries and directing them appropriately, offering a wide range of administrative assistance such as payroll processing, data entry, and reporting, as well as organizing and maintaining filing systems and records. Additionally, you will provide support to other administrative roles within the Division.


About Your Background:

You should have completed high school and pursued post-secondary education in accounting, alongside a minimum of three years of relevant office administration experience, particularly in payroll, data entry, and records management. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly. Strong organizational and time management skills, coupled with advanced proficiency in Word and Excel, will enable you to manage a demanding workload effectively. A valid full privilege Class 5 BC Driver's License (or equivalent) is also required.
