Position Overview
The Role
As a Lead Data Science Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing AI and Advanced Analytics solutions within cloud-based production settings. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver tangible business value through data, aligning with key corporate goals such as optimizing portfolios, enhancing cost efficiency, accelerating growth, leading digital customer initiatives, detecting fraud, and ensuring team performance. The ideal candidate will possess a background in deploying analytics solutions within financial, healthcare, or investment sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a domain expert, providing technical direction on data and AI/ML solution architecture and best practices.
- Design, develop, and implement AI/ML solutions in a cloud environment.
- Integrate AI/ML solutions with enterprise systems and business workflows.
- Oversee MLOps, DevOps toolchain, and ensure Continuous Development, Continuous Integration, and Automated Testing utilizing Jenkins.
- Offer insights on analytics concepts to the broader advanced analytics team, fostering the adoption of data science and engineering across the organization.
- Communicate findings, share insights, and make recommendations that influence sales; present results in various formats including written, oral, and presentations.
- Innovate methods to source and utilize data for modeling efforts, leveraging both structured and unstructured data, as well as big data technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize impactful insights across core business areas.

Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance).
- Extensive experience with PowerBI, Salesforce, MLFlow, and GitHub (preferably with co-pilot).
- Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, AzureML, Databricks), containerization, and analytics libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, matplotlib).
- Proficient in developing APIs or web applications.
- Strong ownership mentality and exceptional problem-solving skills.
