Learning Strategist Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Strategist Instructor to join our team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. As a key member of our Learning Services department, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective learning strategies to enhance student outcomes.
- Provide individualized support to students, including online and face-to-face tutoring, to help them overcome academic challenges.
- Collaborate with faculty to design and deliver curriculum for tutor training and other academic programs.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and coaching of tutors and other staff members.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and policies to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and services.
- Represent Learning Services on relevant committees and working groups.
- Bachelor of Education (English Major) or equivalent combination of education and training.
- Two years' recent and relevant experience in remedial teaching in English.
- Demonstrated ability to support students in an online environment.
- Training and/or experience in the use of common software packages, such as MS Office Suite.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal social, economic, and cultural challenges in Saskatchewan and the relationship of these challenges to the support of Aboriginal students.
