About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Partner Development Manager to join our team at Lightspeed. As a key member of our commercial partnership team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships that drive growth and revenue for our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a pipeline of commercial partnerships to drive new merchants to the Lightspeed platform.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive business growth.
  • Develop and present partnership plans to qualified leads, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure seamless onboarding experiences for partners.
  • Attend industry events and stay up-to-date on current trends and patterns in the industry.
  • Provide regular pipeline reporting and forecasts to leadership.
  • Ensure smooth handover to allocated team members and act as an advocate for partners within Lightspeed.
  • Deliver defined ROI, key learnings, and evaluation of partnership impact to drive market share growth, brand awareness, and sales.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of channel sales experience, with software sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with generating sales forecasts and developing comprehensive growth strategies.
  • High degree of initiative and self-direction, with a bias for action.
  • Excellent B2B relationship building skills and ability to thrive in a competitive and fast-moving environment.
  • Flexibility based on the needs of the business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SaaS sales experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce, Mac OS, G Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the hospitality or retail industry.
