Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a key member of our Medical Imaging Team, you will be responsible for performing Computed Tomography imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality CT images that meet departmental standards
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to Emergency Department, Unit, and Out Patients
  • Prepare and submit accurate and detailed reports to document procedures and test results
  • Organize and prioritize workflow to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Collaborate with patient care units, physicians, and other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to maintain high standards
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Contribute to teaching, training, and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to organizational and departmental policies and procedures to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved training program in Radiography
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Knowledge, skills, and judgment to perform services and procedures within the scope of practice
  • Ability to work autonomously or as a team player, with excellent problem recognition and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to service excellence and meeting patient/staff needs efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to handle stress and conflict management
  • Leadership qualities and ability to meet physical demands of the position
