Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Wentworth Halton X-Ray & Ultrasound. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray and mammography
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved training program in radiography
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
  • Knowledge of the CMRTO's Essential Competencies and ability to apply them in practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • $35.28-$39.35 per hour
  • Overtime pay

Work Schedule

Our Medical Imaging Specialists work a variety of shifts, including Monday to Friday, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, and casual relief positions.
