Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Radiation Technologist to join our Medical Imaging Team. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for performing Computed Tomography imaging procedures in accordance with departmental policies, protocols, and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality CT images to meet departmental standards
  • Provide exceptional patient care for Emergency Department, Unit, and Out Patients
  • Prepare accurate and detailed reports to document procedures and test results
  • Organize and prioritize workflow to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Collaborate with patient care units, physicians, and other departments to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Contribute to teaching, training, and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to organizational and departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved training program in Radiography
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Knowledge, skills, and judgment as identified in the CMRITO "Essential Competencies"
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Commitment to service excellence and patient care
  • Leadership qualities and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
