Position Overview:
Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR team with daily operations and administrative tasks. This position is ideal for individuals aspiring to advance their careers within the HR field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage new hire documentation, including offer letters and probationary assessments.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is distributed and collected.
- Maintain and audit employee records within the HRIS, addressing changes such as new hires, status updates, salary adjustments, leaves of absence, and terminations.
- Coordinate employee enrollment in compliance training programs and software.
- Assist in the revision and tracking of site-specific HR policies.
- Provide administrative assistance to Operational HR Business Partners, including generating reports and updating job descriptions.
- Act as the primary contact for recruitment activities, managing interview schedules, reference checks, offer letter issuance, and job postings.
- Create and maintain organizational charts and facilitate employee communications as necessary.
- Monitor and report on team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee HR file management and administration.
- Engage in HR projects and initiatives.
- Support employee engagement efforts.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related business field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with Oracle HCM, ADP, and/or Kronos Workforce Ready is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently with minimal oversight.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
- Hybrid work environment.
- Office-based role requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
Compensation:
Salary range is $45,000 - $55,000, complemented by competitive benefits including health and dental coverage.
