Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our Canadian Sales strategy and drive growth in the premium wine market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Plan and implement a sales strategy that drives growth in the Canadian market, leveraging various sales channels and identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Conduct thorough market analysis and research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trade partners, media, and other industry professionals, to build trust and drive business growth.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track key performance metrics, providing regular reporting and analysis to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Experience: Proven track record of success in the premium wine market, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership or a related field.
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that drive growth and meet business objectives.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, with a focus on developing and coaching sales professionals.
  • Market Knowledge and Analysis: Strong understanding of the Canadian market, including industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive business growth.
