Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Elder Tree Montessori is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our staff and ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, meetings, and events, and confirm details with attendees.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, respond to emails, and relay messages to staff members.
  • Data Management: Compile data, statistics, and other information, and maintain accurate records.
  • Office Administration: Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and arrange travel itineraries.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients and staff, and respond to their inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, and able to learn new software and systems quickly.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
