Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at Haulage North America Inc.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Review and evaluate existing administrative procedures to ensure they are effective and up-to-date
- Delegate tasks to office support staff and provide guidance and support as needed
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
- Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including data entry and report preparation
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records and government access to information and privacy legislation
- Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, and maintenance
- Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
- Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required
- Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures to ensure they are efficient and effective
- Resolve conflict situations and provide guidance and support to staff
- Commission systems and components to ensure they are functioning properly
- Coach and mentor staff to improve their performance and skills
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of administrative procedures and make recommendations for improvement
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure that all payroll procedures are followed
- 5-10 years of experience in an administrative role
- Strong knowledge of spreadsheet software, including MS Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- 32-40 hours per week
