Job Title: Office Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at Haulage North America Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Review and evaluate existing administrative procedures to ensure they are effective and up-to-date
  • Delegate tasks to office support staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including data entry and report preparation
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records and government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, and maintenance
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required
  • Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures to ensure they are efficient and effective
  • Resolve conflict situations and provide guidance and support to staff
  • Commission systems and components to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Coach and mentor staff to improve their performance and skills
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of administrative procedures and make recommendations for improvement
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure that all payroll procedures are followed
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheet software, including MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions:
