Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager - Operations to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
    • Conduct performance reviews to assess team member performance and provide constructive feedback.
    • Cost products and services to optimize profitability and minimize waste.
    • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
    • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our brand and attract new customers.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that our restaurant runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 employees to ensure that they are performing their duties to the best of their ability.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
    • Be physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
    • Have attention to detail to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
    • Be able to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

    • Be accurate and reliable in all aspects of your work.
    • Have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and customers.

  • Experience
    • Have at least 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and storage.
    • Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
    • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
