About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at 1559778 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective food preparation and service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
    • Prepare and portion food to meet quality control standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring timely and efficient food preparation and service.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate inventory and ordering records.
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and labor costs.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing prompt and effective resolution.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
