About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team at Parkland Corporation. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability in our Fuel Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve divisional targets for retention, growth, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies in coordination with the Director of Sales to meet market and customer needs.
  • Directly manage and grow larger customer accounts to increase revenue and market share.
  • Coordinate marketing activities aligned with the sales organization's goals to drive business results.
  • Maintain market awareness and competitive positioning within Parkland to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Work closely with operations and support functions to facilitate solutions for customers and drive business growth.
  • Negotiate contracts and tenders to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
  • Develop strong relationships with key accounts to maintain high levels of service and loyalty.
  • Recommend solutions that best fit customer requirements to drive business results.
  • Responsible for establishing and achieving annual sales objectives in coordination with the Director of Commercial Sales.
  • Act as a liaison with other department support groups, including credit, operations, marketing, and legal, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Work with sales coordinators to ensure commissions are managed and paid accordingly.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in a sales management or leadership role, preferably in the energy or retail industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of negotiations and profitability analysis processes.
  • A motivated self-starter with good organizational skills and the ability to develop and implement programs.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel, with some overnight stays required.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve business results.
