Job Title: Metalworking Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Metalworking Machine Operator to join our team at Metalcor Building Systems Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various metalworking machines to fabricate metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metalworking machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance on metalworking machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience operating metalworking machines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

The primary language of work is English.
