As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for operating heavy metalworking machines to fabricate metal parts and products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate metalworking machines to fabricate metal parts and products
* Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and specifications
* Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
* Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products
* Document work completed
* Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs
* Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
* Operate gas or oil-fired furnace to heat metal to proper temperatures prior to forging
* Operate machines or equipment that weld, solder, bolt, screw, or rivet metal parts together
* Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal
* Place metal pieces in furnace
* Position and adjust dies on anvil of forging machinery
* Position heated or cooled metal pieces on die of press or other forging machinery
* Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
* Remove metal pieces from furnace when color or metal indicates proper forging temperature
* Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
* Willing to relocate
* Willing to travel
