Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Metalcor Building Systems Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining metalworking machines, fabricating metal parts, and ensuring high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Lay out, set up, and operate light or heavy metalworking machines to fabricate metal parts.
  • Metal Fabrication: Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
  • Quality Control: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
  • Maintenance: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment

Our production facility is a cold/refrigerated environment with dusty, hot, and noisy conditions. You will be required to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
