About the Role
A progressive architectural firm utilizing Revit seeks an experienced Contract Administration Specialist to enhance their team. This role involves conducting weekly site assessments and managing contract documentation within a designated area. Collaborating closely with Partners and Project Architects, the Contract Administration Specialist will uphold superior technical standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Possess a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience; candidates with Architectural Technologist or Bachelor of Architecture qualifications are preferred, particularly those with CCCA training from recognized institutions.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and be prepared for weekly travel to various sites, including occasional overnight stays (expenses covered by the employer).
  • Demonstrate experience in overseeing medium to large-scale projects (valued between $20-$120 million) from construction initiation to project close-out; provide a portfolio of projects completed in the last 5 years, ideally in sectors such as long-term care, senior living, educational facilities, or large mixed-use developments.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and building science principles; capable of offering design insights and proactively addressing potential design challenges.
  • Familiarity with CCDC contract documentation, particularly CCDC-5B, across various project types.
  • Ensure the production of high-quality drawings and documentation to minimize rework, errors, and omissions.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills; adept at managing challenging personalities and evolving design requirements while adhering to budgetary constraints and timelines.
  • Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, and project management software such as Wrike; experience with cloud-based contract administration tools is advantageous.
