About the Role

Cold Iron Truck Center Inc. is seeking a skilled Information Systems Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confer with clients to identify security requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs.
  • Document technical security requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
  • Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation and security measures.
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems security solutions to protect against physical and technical security risks.
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery to ensure the highest level of security.
  • Assess and mitigate security risks to data, software, and hardware to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and contingency plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a security incident.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide ongoing support and ensure the successful implementation of security solutions.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience in information systems security, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
