About the Role

Cold Iron Truck Center Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Security Planner to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering

Confer with clients, including our internal stakeholders, to identify their security requirements and ensure that our information systems meet their needs.

Technical Requirements Documentation

Document technical requirements to ensure that our products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements and are secure.

Cost-Benefit Analysis

Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support the implementation of secure information systems.

System Design and Implementation

Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions that are secure and meet business requirements.

Security Advice and Guidance

Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery to ensure the security and integrity of our information systems.

Risk Assessment

Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware to identify potential vulnerabilities.

Security Policy Development

Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches and ensure business continuity.

Software Development Life Cycle

Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to ensure the security and integrity of our information systems.

Conflict Resolution

Resolve conflict situations that may arise during the implementation of secure information systems.

Usability Testing

Conduct usability testing to ensure that our information systems are user-friendly and secure.

Quality Assurance

Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure the quality of our information systems.

Post-Sale Support

Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure the security and integrity of our information systems.

Test Execution and Documentation

Execute and document the results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.

Requirements
  • Education

A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

Experience is an asset, but not required. A permanent position with 35 hours per week is available.

Language

English is the primary language of communication.
