Job Title: Case Management Lead

Job Summary:

The Canadian Red Cross is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Case Management Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Case Management team, you will provide leadership and direction to ensure the effective delivery of case management services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Case Management team, providing direction and coordination for case management and business processes.
  • Model, lead, support, and provide guidance to Case Management Supervisors in case management planning activities and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Conduct community needs assessments to identify evolving needs of the impacted population and make recommendations for escalation of operations/recovery programming as appropriate.
  • Provide regular comprehensive and timely operational reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Disaster Management, Emergency Management, Social Services, or Community Development, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory and/or management position.
  • Experience in program management, coordination, and client-facing work, including direct case management or a customer-focused role.
  • Experience with the Red Cross and relief or recovery operations and capacity building is a strong asset.
  • Experience managing virtual teams.
  • Language proficiency in English or French, with Indigenous and other languages considered an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings occasionally.
  • Regular travel, including overnight travel within the province, may be required.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driver's abstract.
