Key Responsibilities :

Leadership of the Case Management Team

Oversee the Case Management team, directing and coordinating case management and operational processes while managing ongoing activities and addressing emerging issues. Provide mentorship and support to Case Management Supervisors in planning activities and nurturing robust relationships with external partners, ensuring exceptional client service quality. Collaborate with the Recovery Manager to conduct assessments of community needs, identifying the evolving requirements of affected populations in relation to case management and self-recovery support, and make recommendations for operational escalations as necessary. Prepare and deliver regular, comprehensive operational reports for stakeholders, including contributions to situation reports and relevant operational data.

Implementation of Case Management & Service Delivery Frameworks

Ensure that Case Management services, tools, and processes are established in accordance with national guidelines and aligned with the Case Management methodology. Develop and monitor service metrics focused on effectiveness, timeliness, and quality to support operational planning and reporting. Collaborate with the Rapid Deployment Case Management Team to ensure adequate surge capacity, capacity-building opportunities, and the sharing of best practices. Monitor and ensure the effectiveness and quality of the Case Management structure, implementing beneficiary accountability mechanisms and improving service delivery outcomes.

Communication and Representation Duties

Establish and maintain regular communication with relevant authorities and stakeholders in coordination with local staff. Represent the CRC at coordination meetings and liaise with government authorities and external agencies as needed. Maintain regular communication with the Senior Manager, Case Management, or designated representative regarding operational matters.

Qualifications :

A University Degree in Disaster Management, Emergency Management, Social Services, or Community Development, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role. Experience in program management, coordination, and client-facing roles, including direct case management or customer service. Familiarity with the Red Cross and experience in relief or recovery operations is highly desirable. Proven experience in managing virtual teams. Proficiency in English or French, with additional languages considered an asset.

Working Conditions :

Work is primarily conducted in a clean and comfortable environment. Remote work arrangements will be supported with necessary tools and resources. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings, is required. Occasional travel, including overnight stays within the province, will be necessary. A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required. Candidates should be prepared to respond in disaster areas and challenging conditions. Eligibility to work in Canada is required. Candidates should review their visa status to ensure eligibility for this position. Selected candidates will undergo a pre-employment screening process, including a satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC).
