Opportunity

The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company is seeking an Insurance Case Management Coordinator. In this capacity, you will assist in the coordination of business activities received from various independent advisors and insurance partners.

Role Scope and Impact

This role serves as the essential support hub for the organization, facilitating the submission of both new and existing insurance business for our supported carriers. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing advisor retention and driving sales, which are crucial for our business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with advisors, acting as their dedicated point of contact throughout the new and ongoing business processes.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of new and existing insurance applications in accordance with established service standards.
  • Proactively manage medical documentation, verify application completeness, and ensure precise processing.
  • Collaborate with advisors and internal departments to swiftly resolve application discrepancies.
  • Take ownership of assigned cases, effectively prioritize tasks, and adhere to service excellence standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive case records, escalating complex issues as necessary for prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for asking insightful questions
  • Experience in customer service and strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change, coupled with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with insurance products and terminology, along with experience in the financial services sector
  • Possession of a University Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent professional experience
