The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company is seeking an Insurance Case Management Coordinator. In this capacity, you will provide essential support to our organization and various insurance partners by overseeing the business submissions from both our internal teams and external Independent Advisors.
Role Scope and Impact
This role serves as the critical 'Back Office' for our organization and external Independent Advisors, acting as the primary conduit for advisors to submit New Business and In-Force Insurance transactions for the insurance carriers we support. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing advisor retention and driving sales, which are essential for our business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with advisors, acting as their representative and reliable point of contact throughout the New Business and In-Force processes.
- Ensure the accurate and timely progression of New Business and In-Force applications in line with established service standards.
- Proactively manage medical documentation, assess applications for completeness, and guarantee precise processing.
- Collaborate with advisors or internal departments to swiftly resolve application discrepancies.
- Take responsibility for assigned cases, effectively prioritize tasks, and maintain service excellence.
- Keep comprehensive case records, escalating complex issues for prompt resolution.
Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for asking insightful questions
- Experience in customer service and proficiency in interpersonal communication
- Ability to adapt to change, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with insurance products, relevant terminology, and experience in the Financial Services sector
- University Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent professional experience
