HMP Communications Holdings, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Director to join our team. As a key member of our data operations team, you will be responsible for collaborating with senior stakeholders across multiple departments to set a strategic direction and establish best practices for data.

  • Implement, maintain, and support data governance platform strategy and roadmaps.
  • Design and maintain data standards, policies, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy and security.
  • Access, recommend, and implement capabilities related to business metadata, data lineage, data profiling, data asset curation, and data quality improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (required).
  • 8+ years of data governance experience to support the successful implementation of data strategy.
  • Experience with data governance tools – Collibra, Alation, etc.
  • Experience with Master data management and Enterprise data catalog.
  • Strong knowledge of modern technologies like cloud computing and cybersecurity as well as data platforms like AWS and Snowflake.
  • Superior communication skills and business stakeholder management.
  • Data product launch experience a plus.
  • Verifiable and consistent work history.
  • Valid drivers license.
