We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to join our Transformation team at Centrica plc. Key Responsibilities- Maintain a strategic focus and ensure that the overarching vision and goals are aligned with British Gas Services and Solutions.
- Manage resource allocation effectively and mitigate program risks through identification, assessment, and resolution.
- Prioritize high-impact activities and develop a stakeholder engagement strategy to align and gain support from stakeholders.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics for the program, including what success looks like.
- Ensure credible planning across the program takes place, taking account of interdependencies and that program finances are managed in line with approved budgets.
- Major program leadership skills gained from a large complex organization, preferably in the energy, FMCG, or utilities sectors.
- Experience in managing programs with medium to high complexity, including knowledge and experience of both waterfall and Agile delivery methods, including dev-ops.
- Ability and experience of providing strategic direction in the areas of governance, strategy, program management, vendor management, and portfolio management.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering complex projects and delivering project outcomes for impacted areas, such as process improvement, service management, IT governance, and program management.
- Program governance knowledge and experience of managing dependencies across multiple projects and programs is essential, coupled with experience of significant software and integration activities.
