About the Role

Rocket Companies, a leading provider of digital solutions for complex transactions, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our data strategy and ensuring the effective integration of data assets across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture roadmap that aligns with the company's business strategy and objectives.
  • Design and implement data solutions that are scalable, secure, and performant, with a focus on reusable patterns and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data capabilities and initiatives, and develop business cases to support investment decisions.
  • Research and analyze emerging data standards and technologies, and promote their adoption across the organization.
  • Lead standards discussions and set best practices for data management, data governance, and data quality.
  • Architect data solutions that integrate with other data sources and systems, and ensure seamless data flow and exchange.
  • Partner with the business to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain a holistic view of the company's data assets, including data sources, data flows, and data quality.
  • Define and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Mentor and guide team members on data architecture and data management best practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, and data governance.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions that drive business value and improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data quality principles and practices.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and data quality management tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data problems and develop effective solutions.
