About The Mexican Corner Restaurant

We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant looking for a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Management
    • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget to ensure profitability.
  • Revenue Monitoring
    • Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
  • Staff Management
    • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to improve overall performance.
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operational Management
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Fluency in English.
