About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Barn Nork Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages served meet our high standards of quality and presentation, and that our customers receive excellent service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, supplies, and sales, and make recommendations for inventory control and cost reduction.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent service and to meet our high standards of quality.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that all customers receive a positive experience.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and maintain accurate records of employee hours, attendance, and performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent lifting, bending, and carrying of heavy objects.
