About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National IT Director to lead our IT strategy and operations in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business results through the development, implementation, and maintenance of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Strategy and Operations: Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals and objectives, ensuring seamless integration with our logistics operations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of local IT Specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Report directly to the National Finance Manager and collaborate closely with business leaders to recommend and implement technology improvements.
  • IT Governance: Oversee the security, risk management, and compliance of our Information Systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage IT budgets, ensuring financial targets are met, and oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally in logistics or a similar industry.
  • Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills, IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, PMP, MSCE, TIA A+), and experience with AI and Machine Learning are assets.
