Job Title: Executive Project Director
Job Summary:
The Executive Project Director (EPD) is responsible for overseeing all project-related tasks to meet contractual requirements and client expectations. This role involves coordinating a diverse team of experts, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring project scope adherence. The EPD serves as the main contact for clients, managing both business and technical aspects of the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities and ensure timely completion
- Manage project budget and expenses to optimize resource allocation
- Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare project reports and presentations to stakeholders
- Assist with risk management and issue resolution to minimize project delays
- Mentor junior project management staff to develop their skills and expertise
Requirements:
- Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project or Smartsheet
- Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and direct project teams
- Experience in biotech manufacturing and project management
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities to ensure project success
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
This role involves sedentary work and exposure to lab environments. Physical activities include using fingers, walking, hearing, and talking. Safety precautions are necessary due to potential exposure to infectious agents.
