Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at JOSAN FOOD INC.

Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, assigning duties, hiring and training new employees, and maintaining inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of 5-10 staff members, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Hire and train new staff members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Manage Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are rotated regularly.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights to management.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other problems that may impact store operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail required. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy is essential.
