JOSAN FOOD INC. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring the smooth running of the store.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 staff members, including apprentices, sales workers, and office staff.
- Task Assignment: Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Training and Development: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including merchandise and supplies.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
