JOSAN FOOD INC. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring the smooth running of the store.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and design team members.
- Task Assignment: Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and arrange for training of staff, as well as authorize returns of merchandise.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise and coordinate activities of workers.
- Financial Management: Manage cash and oversee payroll administration.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews and supervise office and volunteer staff.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
