Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Passage to India Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the General Manager in the overall management of the restaurant, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
  • Cost products and services, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
