Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Passage to India Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Operations Management: Plan and organize daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of staff, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Financial Management: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and manage inventory to ensure the restaurant's financial stability.
- Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, and promote the restaurant's brand.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in a restaurant management role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong leadership and organizational skills.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours:The working hours are 35 to 40 hours per week.
