Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1166667 B.C. Ltd. as a key member of our restaurant operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Food Quality and Service
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Flexibility.
    • Team player.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
