We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Unit Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants. As a Unit Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of kitchen and food service helpers to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that all customers receive excellent service.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food service industry.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with frequent standing and walking required.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, and to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
