Position Overview

The Legal Secretary plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of GSD Law Professional Corporation. This position requires a combination of educational background and practical experience to effectively manage legal documentation and office procedures.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the flow of information within the office.
  • Manage and distribute incoming mail and electronic communications.
  • Organize and confirm appointments for legal professionals.
  • Maintain an efficient filing system for legal documents.
  • Document and prepare minutes for court sessions, meetings, or conferences.
  • Establish and implement office procedures and routines.
  • Draft and input correspondence and legal documents accurately.
  • Review and edit documents to ensure adherence to legal standards and grammatical accuracy.
