About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our Asset Management Technology group, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of new regulatory requirements and disclosures that impact financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee client communication and implementation of new regulatory requirements/disclosures that impact the financial statements.
  • Implement standard practices, processes, tools, and initiatives (ESP Re-Engineering) and technology enhancements (system conversion).
  • Manage team to ensure proper oversight of joint-venture operations.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with client companies and regulatory and vendor organizations.
  • Manage conversions of new business plans and review client-specific agreements and internal policies.
  • Lead team, provide coaching and development opportunities to staff, and make effective staffing recommendations.
  • Assess impacts of regulatory changes.
  • Proactively manage operational risk at the business level.
Requirements
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ten or more years of related management experience preferably with a public accounting audit firm or with a financial services organization.
