About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our Financial Reporting team, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and review of client financial statements, regulatory filings, and other periodic reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Management: Manage a diverse group of personnel, including Senior Managers, involved in the preparation of interim and annual financial statements for alternative investments products.
  2. Process Implementation: Implement all standard practices, processes, tools, and technologies to ensure efficient and effective financial reporting.
  3. Training and Development: Direct and train subordinate team leaders and staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Proven experience in managing a team and implementing financial reporting processes.
  2. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) requirements and laws as they apply to investment companies, trusts, partnerships, and other fund structures.
  3. Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding their financial statements, regulatory disclosures, and process improvements.
  4. Leadership: Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, planning out work and resource allocation.
Education and Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
