Wenco International Mining Systems, a subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery, specializes in providing cutting-edge technologies to clients in the mining and material handling industries, facilitating sustainable and secure operations.

We are seeking a full-time Lead Technical Services Analyst to enhance our operations.
Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the primary role of the Lead Technical Services Analyst is to deliver support to Technical Services Analysts, Specialists, and clients. Key Responsibilities: In Office:
  • Deliver prompt phone, email, and remote support for Technical Services Analysts and customers when necessary
  • Maintain duplicate system environments for existing clients to assist in testing and troubleshooting
  • Document all client issues until resolution using Wenco's issue tracking system
  • Prepare and rehearse for system implementation and upgrade initiatives
  • Contribute to product documentation
  • Review all support cases prior to escalation to Tier 2
  • Collaborate with global Tier 1 support on regional issues
  • Execute Triage Desk '1st line support function'
On Site:
  • Successfully implement and upgrade systems
  • Conduct site assessments and prepare reports for deployments
  • Coordinate resources from mine personnel as needed
  • Provide individual and group training on system usage and administration
  • Diagnose software, hardware, and network challenges
  • Maintain regular communication with mine management and project leads regarding project status
Required Experience and Knowledge:
  • 6 to 10 years of user and administrative support experience for enterprise-level software systems
  • Strong understanding and experience with Fleet Management Systems and High-Precision, and/or Machine Health Products
  • Mining knowledge or experience is advantageous
  • Proficient in SQL databases (advanced administration skills), OpenTSDB, InfluxDB (advanced)
  • Familiarity with Real-Time software systems
  • Knowledge of Mobile Computing
  • Experience with Windows networking
  • Understanding of virtual machine environments
  • Advanced Linux server administration
  • Advanced Windows server administration
  • Knowledge of Differential GPS/Real-Time Kinematic systems (RTK)
  • Understanding of Global Navigation Satellite Systems and Real-Time Kinematic systems
  • Familiarity with Serial and CAN Bus connections
  • Valid driver's license
  • Competence in understanding historic and current Wenco hardware platforms

The base salary ranges from CAD $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
