**Job Summary**

Immiland Canada is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee the efficient functioning of our supply chain and logistics operations. If you have the skills and experience to develop business strategies and possess a strategic, analytical mindset, we want to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the purchasing activities of our establishment.
  • Develop purchasing policies and procedures and control the purchasing department budget.
  • Identify vendors of materials, equipment, or supplies.
  • Evaluate the cost and quality of goods or services.
  • Negotiate or oversee the negotiation of purchase contracts.
  • Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials.
  • Review and process claims against suppliers.
  • Interview, hire, and oversee the training of staff.
  • Create, monitor, analyze, and improve the demand forecast for both the short and long term.
  • Cooperate with the sales and supply chain (operations) teams and contribute to the clarity towards other areas about capacity needs.

**Requirements**

  • Procurement and purchasing agents and officers usually require a bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce, or economics.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in the supply chain for sourcing specialists and analysts is usually required (a comparable, relevant position).
